PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Tremsil® 200 is a single-component acetoxy silicone sealant that cures to a flexible rubber when exposed to moisture present in the air, creating a weathertight seal. BASIC USES Tremsil 200 will produce a weathertight seal when applied to glass, metal, porcelain, ceramic, and most painted surfaces. Tremsil 200 is suitable for use in kitchens, bathrooms, spas, and similar applications. FEATURES & BENEFITS Tremsil 200 has a fungicide incorporated into it’s formula, providing lasting protection against mold/mildew. There is no mixing required with Tremsil 200, so product is always ready to use for immediate application with conventional caulking equipment.Tremsil 200 may be use in any joint designed in accordance with accepted architectural/engineering practices. Joint width should be 4 times the anticipated movement, but not less than 1/4" (6 mm) wide. Tremsil 200 meets or exceeds the requirements of the following specifications: • Conforms to ASTM C920 Type S, Grade NS, Use NT, G, A, and O • U.S. Federal Specification TT-S-00230, Class A • U.S. Federal Specification TT-S-001543A, Class A • CAN-CGSB-19.13-M87 The Greenguard Gold certification on Tremsil 200 ensures safety for use in the most sensitive indoor environments including hospitals and schools. AVAILABILITY Immediately available from your local Tremco Sales Representative, Tremco Distributor, or Tremco Warehouse in 10.1 oz (300 mL) cartridges. COLORS Available in Aluminum, Black, Clear, and White. LIMITATIONS Do not apply Tremsil 200 over damp or contaminated surfaces. Tremsil 200 is not intended for continuous water immersion. Do not use on surfaces sensitive to corrosion by acetic acid vapors (a by-product of sealant cure). Always use with adequate ventilation.
