PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Tremsil® 400 is a high-performance silicone sealant that is specifically designed to achieve a watertight seal in expansion joints
and for general perimeter caulking. Tremsil 400 is a single-component, neutral-cure, medium-modulus sealant.
 
BASIC USES
Tremsil 400 can be used to achieve a watertight seal in expansion joints and for general perimeter caulking of windows, doors
and frames, precast, and tilt-up panels.
 
FEATURES & BENEFITS
The medium modulus of Tremsil 400 grants it the capability to handle up to 40% expansion and contraction, making it ideal for
use in dynamically moving joints. Tremsil 400 offers primerless adhesion to most construction materials to reduce installation
times.
Tremsil 400 meets or exceeds the requirements of the following specifications:
• U.S. Federal Specification TT-S-00230C, Type II, Class A
• ASTM C920, Type S, Grade NS, Class 39, Use, NT, M, and A
• CAN/CGSB 19.13-M87
Tremsil 400 is user and environmentally friendly. The extremely low VOCs of Tremsil 400 allow it to be used in any VOC
regulated area across the United States and Canada. There is no mixing required with Tremsil 400, so product is always ready
to use for immediate application with conventional caulking equipment.
 
LIMITATIONS
Do not apply Tremsil 400 over damp or contaminated surfaces. Tremsil 400 is not intended for
continuous water immersion nor structural glazing/tensile bead applications. Always use with
adequate ventilation.
